2025 is Here!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what my art should be used for in this world. I will never be a da Vinci, and my work’s impact will likely be small in the grand scheme of things, but I want to use it some other good. Last year, the opportunity to participate in the KVIE PBS Fundraising Auction was truly a blessing
It allowed me to share my gift, no strings attached, and to give back to programming that has benefited my life and the lives of my children over many years. This inspired me to think about other ways I could continue that intention throughout the coming year.
That said, in 2025, each month I will choose a different passion that is near and dear to my heart for a donation. For January, the choice was easy. The fires in Southern California have come close to my childhood stomping grounds, and certainly impacted people that I love. Having a wild forest fire come within a mile of our home two summers ago, I deeply empathize with those who have been put in harms way by this terrible disaster. So, for January, 20% of the proceeds of my art sales will go to helping victims of the fires in Southern California. Stay tuned to see what good we can we do together in February!
